Why Every Flower Bouquet Should Be Bought from a Local Flower Farm

It's your best friend's birthday, and you want to get her something special! You Google your local florist. You put in your order and are excited to see her reaction. Of course, she loves them and says you're the best friend anyone can ever have.

However, when you see the flowers for yourself when you stop by to pick her up for lunch, you are disappointed. They are a little wilted and not like how they were pictured. Even though she's happy, you are disappointed in the bouquet because of how much you paid for them.

Many giant florists like 1800flowers buy their flowers from auctions, usually from the largest ones like United Flower Growers in North America or Flora Holland in Europe. Even though precautions are taken to preserve the quality of the flowers, they are still a few days old.

Getting flowers delivered directly from a farmer is guaranteed to make your flowers last longer, plus you are supporting a local business.

My flowers have been known to last about a week more than other bouquets my clients have had. Also, if you take care of your flowers by filling them with fresh water every day and giving your flowers the flower food I provide, they will last even longer!

If you are interested in getting a bouquet of flowers, call me or fill out the form on the front page of my website.
